HomeSkript Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HomeSkript platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by HomeSkript, LLC (“HomeSkript,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HomeSkript provides a digital platform that enables users to:

• Store, organize, and manage home-related documents and records
• Track maintenance, repairs, and improvements
• Maintain a historical record of residential properties
• Facilitate communication and documentation between homeowners and third parties (including contractors)

HomeSkript does not provide construction, inspection, legal, financial, or real estate advisory services.

3. Elegibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account

You agree to:

• Promptly update your information as needed

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Data Accuracy & Reliance

HomeSkript does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information stored on the platform.

You acknowledge:

• The Service is a record-keeping tool only

You agree not to rely solely on HomeSkript for:

• Legal decisions
• Financial decisions
• Construction or safety decisions

7. Contractor & Third-Party Interactions

The Service may allow interaction with third parties, including contractors.

HomeSkript:

• Does not endorse, vet, or guarantee third parties
• Is not responsible for work performed by contractors
• Is not a party to any agreement between users and third parties

All transactions and relationships are solely between users and third parties.

8. No Professional Advice

The Service does not provide:

• Legal advice
• Engineering advice
• Construction advice
• Financial or tax advice

Any information provided is for general informational purposes only.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (excluding User Content), including:

• Software
• Design
• Branding
• Logos

are owned by HomeSkript and protected by intellectual property laws.

11. Prohibited Conduct

• Upload harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content

12. Account Termination

• Create risk or legal exposure for HomeSkript

You may terminate your account at any time.

13. Data Retention & Deletion

• To comply with legal obligations

Upon account termination, data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

• NON-INFRINGEMENT

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of stored data
• Availability of the Service
• That the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

HomeSkript shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Property damage

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service in the past 12 months.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HomeSkript from any claims arising from:
